Smart Link Limited company was established in 2016, one of the activities with the highest priority is export of food stuffs and consumer goods to the markets of the African continent.
One of the leading economy sectors in Ukraine is the agro industrial complex. This is due to the presence of regions with relatively long growing season and with high quality of soils.
Apart from the stabile provision of the population with high quality, safe and available products, the agriculture of Ukraine is able to make a considerable contribution to solve the world-wide hunger problem. The production capacity exceeds significantly the domestic requirements.
Fertile soils represent 42 m ha out of the total territory of Ukraine, which permits to grow technical, cereal, vegetable, cucurbits and feed crops. The principal cereal crops are wheat, rye, barley, corn, oat, millet, buckwheat and rice. Among technical crops sunflower, sugar beet, flax, hop and tobacco are cultivated. The technical crop that occupies the biggest territory is the sunflower, approximately 2,1 m ha.
Animal husbandry is specialized on proceeding meat, meat products, milk, eggs and other foodstuff. The main branch of animal husbandry is cattle breeding. Besides cattle, hogs, sheep and poultry (chicken, ducks, geese, turkey) are bred.
Light industry is developing in Ukraine as well, which is specialized on consumer goods production, such as fabrics (linen, cotton, silk, wool, and stockinet), shoes, haberdashery and carpets. One of the main components of the Ukrainian agriculture is chemical industry, which provides all the other sectors of economy with the necessary chemical and technological materials. It also manufactures consumer goods, creates new materials and affects the technical progress of other sectors. Production of washing agents and chemical pharmaceutics keep developing more and more, as well as hard coal, common and potassium salt extraction.
The main Ukrainian export articles are foodstuffs, which are, first of all, grains and sunflower all. To aid the visualization, the export of sunflower oil during the first half of 2016 raised by 21,9% in comparison to the same period of the precedent year, of grains – by 1,4%. Approximately 11% from the total export of Ukraine during the first half of 2016 was represented by sunflower oil, approximately 10% - by corn.
The main business purpose of Smart Link Ltd is promotion of Ukrainian products in the African market as well as improving the image of Ukraine and Ukrainian manufacturers on the African continent.
